I wanted an easy-peasey recipe for Bliss Balls. In fact, truth be told, I was hungry with limited food supplies so this was a throw-anything-which-works together experiment.
I was also very tired so this was a I-only have-1 minute-of energy challenge too…..
Let’s see what we can do……
Well this recipe for Bliss Balls worked! And only took a minute or 2.
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons of Almond Flour
1 Tablespoon Nut Butter
Pinch of Seasalt
1 Drop of Pure Peppermint oil
2 Tablespoons Raw Cocao Powder
Pinch of Cocao nibs (optional)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon Honey
Desiccated Coconut
Method:
Mix everything together (expect coconut) in a processor until a dough-like consistency. Add a little water if too thick.
Roll into balls with palms and roll in Desiccated Coconut.
Store in fridge – if they last that long.

Tried and tested this evening! The mixture is lovely and I’m waiting for the finish product to emerge from the fridge! Really lovely and quick to make x
I know so quick that was the best bit 🙂 I didn’t even wait to put in fridge 😉 x
To replace any ingredients from nuts
You could use Tahini, nut butters,my round flaxseeds instead of almond flower, also a chocolate protein power with an additional a Cocao powder would be delicious
What could you use if you can’t use nuts?
Im not sure – seed butter and seeds maybe. Or desiccated coconut? Or oats if you eat them. Have a play 🙂
Oh wow- can’t believe I hadn’t tried adding peppermint oil to bliss balls before now. Where have I been?!
Sometimes, our best kitchen creations come from having bare cupboards! xx
Hehe I know! It was a desperate need which turned out fro the best 😉 The peppermint is what made them for sure 🙂 xx
